Mini Capsule Microphone
USBfever has launched the Mini Capsule Microphone, a new attachment designed for the second-generation iPod touch. The device offers plug-and-play capabilities, and works as both a microphone and a speaker. Power is supplied by an iPod's internal battery. While meant for Touches, the mic is also said to be compatible with the iPhone and iPhone 3G.
Microphone-only support is present with the fourth-gen Nano and 120GB Classic, while the Mini, first-gen Touch and first- and second-gen Nanos can use the add-on as a speaker. Miscellaneous mobile phones can also use the device as a speaker, so long as they rely on 3.2mm audio jacks. The Mini Capsule is available in both black and white colors, and priced at $17.
