iPhone apps: Start Mobile, Total Baby, Ms. Chuck

  • Start Mobile iPhone Galleries ($1) provides users with sixteen different mobile art galleries containing wallpapers made from various artists including Justin Bua, Ricky Powell, Shepard Fairey, Drew Brophy and Mark Wasyl. The application enables all wallpapers to be flipped to reveal additional information. iPhone Galleries also includes a picture frame feature that turns the handheld into a digital picture frame which cycles through every image in the gallery in five-second intervals.

  • Total Baby ($1) is a management and tracking application that allows parents to keep a log of their child’s whole day. Featuring 11 different timing and tracking functions, parents can keep a record of feeding, sleeping and bath times, along with a complete summary of their child’s day. The application can also store entries for topics such as growth, diary, and doctor visits. Parents can also add photos to the entries with either the built-in camera or pictures that are already saved on the iPhone. Support is offered for up to 6 children.

  • Ms. Chuck the Ball ($1) is a game where players take control of Ms. Chuck and attempt to navigate through maps, picking up stars and solving puzzles. The game features more than 100 levels, along with three different difficulty settings. Players control Ms. Chuck by swiping the screen of the iPhone with their finger, in the direction the ball is supposed to go.

  • AP Mobile (free) provides users with access to news articles from the Associated Press. Users can choose from different news categories and filter news by location. A recent update has added a new feature which provides weather information from AccuWeather.com, for locations around the world. This new addition allows users to view current or local weather conditions, five-day local forecasts, radar and satellite images (when available), and links to the AccuWeather website.

  • Lucky Gambling Book 2009 (free) is an organization and management application for keeping track of gambling information. Users can keep a log of the amount of money that was won or loss for each day of the year, the casino’s they played at, which games were played, their gambling partners, and the amount of hours spent playing. Additional features include the ability to add specific notes for later use, information on Lucky Gambling tips, and an Instant Luck game.
