PasswordWallet 4.4.7 ships

Selznick Scientific has released Password Wallet 4.4.7, an update to its password-management software for Mac OS X and the iPhone. PasswordWallet can organize passwords into different categories, allowing groupings such as website logins, credit card passwords, credentials and others. The application can export to text, Safari bookmarks, encrypted web pages and text-to-iPod. It works using a master password and retrieves, synchronizes and copies passwords, with support for auto-type across multiple web pages. PasswordWallet utilizes BlowFish encryption algorithms with 448-bit keys, while users can keep the master password in the OS X Keychain.

The desktop version offers expanded HTML export options and improved voice-over support for visually impaired users. Version 4.4.7 adds JIS keyboard compatibility for auto-typing , while the minimized windows now have simple document icons. Bug fixes involve an editing record issue, an auto-typing issue and label exporting problem.

The iPhone version of PasswordWallet adds iPhone 3.0 clipboard support for complete records copied as text, as well as username, password and other data. The new version also integrates backup capabilities, creating an encrypted HTML file that can be accessed from iTunes backups and then decrypted on any platform. Auto-type works with more websites and a prompt has been added to lock buttons. The new version features wider tool-buttons and shorter category subsection for better use of space on the iPhone screen.

PasswordWallet 4.4.7 requires a network connection and Mac OS X 10.4 or higher or iPhone 2.0 or later (copy and paste features require version 3.0). The desktop software costs $20 and the iPhone app is $5 on the iTunes App Store. The company makes Palm- and Windows Mobile-compatible versions as well.

    Great!

I've used this program since my Palm days. Excellent to see it updated for iPhone (My Palm has been off since mid 2007, ha!)
