Cyclops (free) uses the iPhone's built-in camera to scan barcodes. After a picture of a barcode is taken the software attempts to find the item on Amazon. If the item is found information such as an image and prices are displayed. Users can also select which international Amazon site they would like the app to use.
The iPod classic may soon become extinct, at least in its traditional form, recent hard drive sales are thought to indicate.
