iPhone apps: Wisen Up, LookItUp!, Touch KO

iGift4u, Aqua Globs


  • Wisen Up (free) contains a database of different personality quizzes, ancient cures, body language, medical quotes, tell me why, myths, weird and incurable diseases, body facts, types of doctors, phobias and first aid mistakes. The application also includes a n interactive category where users can test their ability to identify different sicknesses.

  • LookItUp! ($1) is a search engine tool for the iPhone and iPod touch which allows users to perform searches across multiple search engines simultaneously. The application provides access to popular search engines like Google, Yahoo!, AltaVista, and more. Users can choose between different search categories and LookItUp! will automatically choose the appropriate search engines to use.

  • Touch KO ($5) is a boxing simulation game that allows players to fully customize their own character. The game includes a Quick Play mode, allowing users to jump into a game at any point, along with a Career mode. In Career mode players start as an inexperienced fighter and must work their way up through the ranks by winning titles. As players progress through their career they can upgrade their stats with different training routines.

  • Facebook iGift4u ($1) can be used to send virtual content to friends on Facebook. Users can add images from the applications database or the devices photo library to their own wall, or a friends wall. The application can also be used to share YouTube content with friends. Alternatively, instead of using Facebook users can also directly share media from within the application via email.

  • Aqua Globs ($1) is a game where the goal is to combine globs of the same color. The game includes three different colored globs, blue, orange, and green. The blue and orange globs must be combined with other globs of the same color while the green character can be joined with either. As the game progress the speed increases and players will have to react faster to keep the different colored globs separate.
