SOHO 8, NoteLife

Chronos has announced forthcoming updates to SOHO Notes and SOHO Organizer, bringing both of the programs up to version 8. Notes has been given a speed improvement, as well as tools for voice, video and photo recording. Also incorporated are Icon and Cover Flow views, along with new backup and encryption systems.

Organizer shares Notes' speed and recording enhancements, but adds distinct changes including e-mail integration, a desktop calendar, calendar themes and a new print preview. Standard preorder prices for the programs are $30 and $75, while upgrades are $20 and $40. Bundled with any preorder is a choice of iClipboard or F10 Launch Studio for free. The SOHO apps will launch on September 22nd.

Coming around the same time should be NoteLife, a note creation and management app for the iPhone. The app syncs with SOHO Notes, and boasts distinguishing features such as a Cover Flow view and audio, photo and video recording. Pricing is slated to be $5.
