Mr. Driller, Handy Convert


  • FotoMuse ($3) is a photo editing utility which can be used to add different effects to images. Photos can be imported from a users library and then modified. The application includes tools for adjusting contrast, layering images, adding borders, and more. Finished images are saved in the full resolution of the original image.

  • Cannons ($3) is a game were players have to rotate tiles to direct lit fuses to various cannons. Three different game modes are included along with a ship upgrade system and a worldwide leaderboard. Classic Mode forces players to defeat their enemies in a specific time, Strategic Mode gives players a set number of moves to use, and Arcade Mode requires players to complete levels before new tiles fill up the screen.

  • PDF-Pro ($5) can be used to store and view PDF files on an iPhone or iPod touch. The reader includes support for bookmark creation, and viewing, allowing users to quickly flip though long documents. Support for encrypted PDFs is allow included along with support for double byte characters such as those found in Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. Additionally, users can upload and download PDF files from any PC or website.

  • Mr. Driller ($1) puts players in the shoes of Mr. Driller who must find out where a series of colored blocks are coming from. Players can choose from three different control types. D-Pad places a virtual set of buttons on the screen that can be used for movement and drilling, Swipe has players move their character around by swiping across the screen, and Accelerometer allows users to control movement by tilting their device. The game also includes three different game modes, Survival, Arcade, and Time Trial, and support for Facebook Connect for sharing top scores.

  • Handy Converter ($6) is capable of converting many different units. All conversion calculations have been broken down into categories such as length, weight, temperature, and currency. Users can then select the base unit and the desired unit and the conversion is performed automatically as a value is entered. Currency rates are kept up to date and can be retrieved from the Bank of Canada, the European Central Bank, or the Central Bank of Russia.
