Best Buy carrying new iPod nano, touch cases early

5G iPod nano, 3G iPod touch cases at Best Buy

Best Buy on Tuesday inadvertently tipped off Apple's plans for tomorrow by posting entries for unreleased iPods. Belkin and Griffin cases for the fifth-generation iPod nano and third-generation iPod touch have appeared and support the notion that at least these two will be updated at Apple's special event on Wednesday. None of the releases immediately betray expected features like built-in cameras, though some include their own hand straps.

Case leaks from Chinese suppliers have been common in recent weeks but have rarely translated to the US, where the companies that design or resell these cases are more likely to wait for an official Apple update before announcing their plans.

No cases have surfaced for an updated iPod classic or shuffle and cast doubts on any major updates for these devices. [via Pocket-lint]

...along with the disappearance of the 160GB model & no 250GB model last round, bridging the optics upgrade gap from the current 120GB hd based to a possible 128GB solid state Touch?

... that great financing offer?

At about $1.12 a month for 24 months, I ought to be able to finally afford one of these cases.
