ESPN Radio app offers live feeds for the iPhone, iPod touch

App provides access to 15 unique channels

ESPN Radio has released an iPhone app that provides access to live radio streams from more than 15 different ESPN stations. The app features play-by-play broadcasts of college football games in real-time, as well as live scores and news feeds for NFL, MLB, MHL, and other professional sports games. ESPN Radio allows users to listen to a variety of shows such as Mike and Mike in the Morning, The Michael Kay Show, and The Herd with Colin Cowherd.

Apple drops prices on refurbished iPods

Cuts affect all models

Slightly less than two weeks after introducing new models, Apple has announced a series of price cuts to its older, refurbished iPods. An 8GB Touch is now $149, for instance, a drop of $40. A 16GB Touch is now $50 less at $199, and a 32GB model has been slashed in cost by $30, reaching $249.

Pantone brings color palette app to iPhone

Color specialist Pantone has released a new iPhone app, which allows designers to thumb through color swatches and create palettes that can be used in most creative applications. myPANTONE also allows users to extract colors from photos taken with the iPhone's camera, to design complementary palettes.

Brian Eno debuts second iPhone music app

Allows visual improvisation

Brian Eno -- best known for work as a producer and ambient musician -- has released a second iPhone application, developed with the help of designer and musician Peter Chilvers. Called Trope, the app lets users create their own ambient music by drawing patterns with their fingers. The shape of each pattern creates a different tone.
