Monster Turbine Pro

Monster Cable today upgraded its non-Beats in-ear headphones with the addition of the Turbine Pro. The new pair purportedly has "reference" level audio, although specifications aren't given, and have a new custom-designed ear tip design that should provide better insulation from the outside world than Monster's previous design. A set of the older ear tips remains in the box.

The buds come in copper- or rose gold-colored versions. A standard version of the Turbine Pro set meant for listening only ships for $300, but a $330 edition comes with an in-line mic and remote combo to support phone calls on iPhones and control for these as well as newer iPods.

    Doubtless...

Doubtless, these are the same overpriced c*** we have come to expect from Monster Cable.

Gee, ya think they'll sue me for taking their name in vain?

    Worthless comments...

I own a set of the standard turbines and they sound as good as any equivalent ultimate ears, shure, sony or JVC/Victor on the market. Yes, they are made by Monster (with its reputation), but to make worthless statements without actually trying the product is completely unproductive.
