The iMainGo2 is not just a unique case and speaker hybrid but also Portable Sound Laboratories' only real product so far; as such, we have pretty high expectations for its sole offering. With a bargain basement retail price of only $40, is the iMainGo2 a sleeper in the portable speaker market or a relative novelty? The complete review has the definitive answer.

And am still impressed with it. On my model, when used in doors (hotel room, kitchen, bedroom, whathaveyou) it is possible to leave the headphone jack dangling outside of the unit for quick swaps of iPods. No unzipping, unstrapping, strapping and zipping required.
Sound quality is good and volume is exceptional for a unit of it's size. The question I am still trying to answer is why people buy similar units with the speakers mounted and facing internally, so you have no choice but to open them to use them.
I am still waiting for a water resistant model with enough volume to hear on my motorcycle at freeway speeds. :D
