SteelSeries outs adapter, limited gaming mouse

Gaming peripheral maker SteelSeries has introduced a SteelSeries Adapter for mobile devices, which lets users plug in their existing two-plug headsets, gaming microphones or headphones into any device, mobile or otherwise, with a 3.5mm audio jack. SteelSeries says the adapter fully compatible with iPhones and 2nd-gen iPod touch devices. At the same time, SteelSeries released a limited edition Sudden Attack Ikari Laser Mouse and QcK Mass Mousepad.

The mouse is essentially the same as the Ikari Laser except it has unique camouflage paint to reflect the first-person shooter game Sudden Attack. The Ikari Limited Edition mouse has programmable macros and a high-precision sensor capable of 40,000 samples per second. Gamers also have the ability to fine-tune the resolution settings in single count per inch (CPI) increments.

The SteelSeries QcK Mass Limited Edition Sudden Attack mousepad is 6mm thick and covered in high-quality cloth that includes an in-game graphic. Its rubber base prevents slipping from the surface it's placed on.

All three products are now available, with the SteelSeries Adapter costing $15, the Limited Edition Sudden Attack Ikari laser mouse priced at $80 and the QcK Mass mousepad retailing for $12.
