Aims at improving broken communications

Apple has launched new RSS feeds for participants in the iPhone developer program. Coders should primarily receive major news and announcements, but Apple is also promising various forms of assistance, such as advice on testing and development techniques. More significantly the company is promising updates on approval turnaround times, and tips on submitting apps.

In the past developers have complained that Apple provides little feedback on the App Store, making it difficult to know when an app will be rejected, and how long it may take for the approval process to be completed. In severe cases, it may take weeks or months for a title to reach the public. Apple marketing executive Phil Schiller has said that the company is working to improve the developer experience.
