Shades for iPhone nano 5G, PRIE Ambassador Smart

ShadesCases and TuneWear have both announced new protective cases for their lines of iPhone and iPod accessories. The new Shades case, developed by ShadesCases, is designed for the iPod nano 5G. It covers the entire iPod nano, including the screen and click-wheel, with a hard plastic layer that guards against bumps and scratches, while leaving the camera lens open. Shades comes in 10 different colors including clear, black, blue, red and orange.

The Shades cases are also available for the new iPod classic 160GB and iPod Touch 3G.

TuneWear has launched the PRIE Ambassador Smart for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. The leather case fits around the back and sides of the iPhone while still leaving access to the dock connector, button controls, and camera. It also provides a small reflective mirror near the video camera so users can ensure they are in the picture when taking a self portrait. The case comes in three different designs: black leather with red stitching, black leather with white stitching, or white leather with pink stitching. A matching wrist strap connects to a loop on the bottom of the case and can be swapped for other custom wrist straps.

Shades is currently on sale for $10 over the holidays, after which it will return to its regular price of $17, while the PRIE Ambassador Smart costs $40.
