Designed for Fashionista series introduced

JVC has released a new range of headphones at CES (CES Booth 8219) this week. The new HA-NC260 noise-canceling headphones have new circuity that monitors outside sounds and eliminates up to 90 percent of background noise, including feedback. Each earpiece has a dual housing structure for better sound insulation and memory foam cushioned ear pads help isolate background noise. The pair uses a 40mm neodymium driver in each earpiece.

The HA-NC260 sells with a slim carrying case, a 4-inch cord, an airline dual plug adapter and a .25-inch plug adapter. A 1.5-volt AAA battery is required for powering the noise cancellation circuitry. They will be available in March for $200.

JVC's HA-EB75 headphones feature a securely fitting adjustable ear clip in three color choices. They are designed for active users, are splashproof and the ear clips are adjustable. They are built with .53-inch neodymium drivers for bass reproduction and a friction-noise reduction cord. The headphones, in black, blue and silver, are due in February at a price of $13.

The high-end Black series adds an in-ear model headphone, the HA-FXC80 headphone, featuring a Micro-HD driver that places the unit in the ear canal as opposed to the outer housing. The headphones also use a carbon housing and carbon diaphragm, designed in a tri-form triangular black housing. The design allows for wearing the headphone with the cord below the ear or over the top and behind the ear.  It arrives with a carrying pouch and will be available for $60 later this month.

With an eye to fashion, JVC has launched its HA-FXP3 Designed For Fashionista inner ear headphones. The new headphones come in animal print patterns, including Dalmatian, leopard, zebra and pink zebra. Geared towards women, they arrive with medium, small and extra small silicone earpieces. They use a .33-inch neodymium driver for bass reproduction, have a gold plated plug and use a friction-noise reduction cord. The headphones will ship in February, selling for $20.

JVC has also updated four lines of current headphones to reflect fifth-generation iPod nano colors. The HA-FX35 Marshmallow, HA-F240 Gumy Air and HA-F140 New Gumy headphones are now available in nine colors matching the colors of the Apple player.  The JVC Flats offer a choice of six updated colors. All four series updates will ship on February.
