White House debuts official iPhone app
updated 10:40 am EST, Wed January 20, 2010
Includes live video streaming
The White House has released its first-ever official iPhone app. Simply called The White House, the app gathers together much of the content of whitehouse.gov, including official blogs, press feeds, and collections of photos and video. An emphasis of the app is on live video; one of the first major events to be streamed will be next week's State of the Union address.
Users can also participate in chats organized with White House officials. The app is a free download from the App Store. Planned for the near future is mobile.whitehouse.gov, a website optimized for "any Internet-enabled mobile device," including phones other than Apple's.

This is why multitasking in the OS is imperative. Otherwise, how can one use their farting apps while reading the white house app to indicate their displeasure for each item?
