nova media has released a new sync application for the Mac, FoneSync for LG phones. The utility syncs Address Book and iCal information with a variety of LG devices. Support is currently present for just the HB620T, KF750 and KU990, but more models should be added in the future. In hopes of speeding up the the process a free tool has been released that checks if a phone can be added. FoneSync for LG phones is available online for $20, and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6.1, plus a Bluetooth-enabled Mac.
Free tool for developing iPhone apps
A new iPhone development tool has been introduced by NonLinear Software. The company is offering the tool for free, and claims that it can be used to create a functioning app with no programming knowledge. appOmater helps build software that can play audio and video, link to slideshows, and display RSS feeds or web pages. Users can also build custom menus and buttons. After finishing an app people can upload a title to the App Store on their own, or use appOmator.com's App Management service and have the company take care of posting and managing software.

There's a download to design your app but nothing to submit it to be built or sent to App store. So you want me to just let this download sit on my computer until who knows when? Oh you want my contact info availability updates?
