Bell Canada intros live TV app for iPhone, iPod touch

Taps into Bell TV assets
Canadian carrier Bell has launched Bell Mobile TV, a new app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Users can watch a variety of TV channels, such as CBC Newsworld, MTV, Muchmusic, Treehouse and The Weather Network. On top of this is live coverage of NHL games, as well multilingual video from the Vancouver Olympics.
An electronic programming guide helps locate content. The app is mainly intended for owners of the iPhone 3G or 3GS, as it replicates a service available on other Bell 3G phones. Downloaders must be running iPhone 3.0 or later, and already be a Bell subscriber.
