Sirius XM for iOS 4 arrives with background audio

Sirius XM now handles iOS multitasking
As hinted earlier, Sirius XM today posted an iOS 4-native version of its Premium Online radio app (free, App Store). The upgrade brings it up to par with versions for other mobile platforms by allowing its audio in the background. No mention has been made of the data warning, but the app should buffer less aggressively when on 2G or 3G.
Minor updates bring an option to reorganize favorite channels, more fine-grained control in the settings, and overall fixes. Background audio as with other apps needs an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 or third-generation iPod touch using iOS 4, but most of the other changes apply to all devices.
