Quirky uses built-in kickstand for video display

Two new iPhone 4 cases have launched on Friday from SwitchEasy and Quirky. SwitchEasy's Colors case uses a shock-resistant silicone material with a smooth finish. It provides access points for the iPhone buttons and protects the headphone jack and data port. The design also includes SwitchEasy's 'jellybean' home button, a glossy cover in a contrasting color over the iPhone's home button. The volume and power buttons are an extra-thick design claimed to improve tactile response.

The cases are packaged with two anti-static screen guards and an applicator, a microfiber wipe and pairs of headphone jack protectors and dock connector protectors. The new cases are now shipping for $15, with nine different colors available.

Quirky has launched Tilt, a case and stand combination for the iPhone 4. The case features a double-hexagon design that combines plastic and rubber. The case integrates a hinge near the bottom, providing easy access to the base and a kickstand when opened. Users can set the iPhone in both horizontal and vertical orientations.

The Quirky Tilt arrives in either a black-on-black or purple and white combination. It is available for pre-order for $28, a slight discount over the regular $30 price.
