Syncs content from desktop browser

A new Mozilla iPhone app, Firefox Home, is now available through the App Store. The software serves as an extension of the desktop Firefox web browser, using Firefox Sync to carry over personalized data, primarily bookmarks. It also remembers tabs, which like bookmarks can be opened up using the Safari WebKit plugin.

For search purposes the app also replicates Firefox's Awesome Bar, remembering favorite and/or major sites for easy access. The download is free, but some technical limitations are present. It does not yet take advantage of the iPhone 4's Retina Display, for instance, and iPad support does not include a native interface.
