Rdio music now open to all in North America
Rdio today ended its long testing phase and launched its streaming music service in North America. Both Americans and Canadians can stream from the web or to Android, BlackBerry and iOS (free, App Store) devices over 3G and Wi-Fi. Rdio takes a social angle and lets subscribers follow each other to discover new music, make shared playlists and check who's listening to popular songs.
The apps support offline caching for subscriptions and gives the option of buying permanent albums and tracks. iTunes users can match their existing collections to Rdio so they can have their existing music without having to store it on a space-limited phone.
The mobile apps are free, and the iOS app was recently updated to support background audio in iOS 4 as well as local caches. Subscriptions start at $5 per month for web-only access; adding mobile access raises the rate to $10 per month. Individual songs usually cost 99 cents each but vary in price.

Not bad
It only matched about 50% of my music, and at the time I tried the beta, the other 50% was not available. So I hope they got a lot of that worked out.
Personally, I just want all of my music - streamed to my iPhone. If I want to hear new music, I'll turn on Pandora.
I used to use Simplify, but that's gone (Thanks Google!)
Audiogalaxy is the closest I've seen to that. Plus, you can access all if your music via audiogalaxy.com
It's FREE too, no monthly charge.
