Manages feat in one day

Having only been available for a day, the Netflix iPhone app has already reached the top of the App Store's free category. The software lets Netflix subscribers stream movies and TV shows over Wi-Fi or 3G. Previously, the only way of streaming Netflix content to an iOS device was through the iPad app, launched in April.

By contrast, the top free iPad app is People Magazine; Netflix is number four. The apps have something in common, however, in that they are both free downloads for people with offline subscriptions. So far, the need to buy issues individually has been obstacle to the adoption of iPad-native magazines.

    h**** yeah!

Used the app to watch a Futurama movie on my iPhone. Streamed perfectly, image quality was excellent (on tiny screen) and audio was properly synced. Awesome iApp for Netflix subscribers.
