Apple posts iOS 4.1 SDK, iMovie 1.1 with Touch support

iMovie also gains clip splits, browser previews
On the heels of iOS 4.1's release, Apple has posted still more downloads related to the firmware. The first is iOS SDK 4.1, which includes the latest versions of the Xcode IDE, iOS Simulator and other tools necessary for app production. Registered developers can find the software at the iOS Dev Center.
Visitors to the App Store can download a new version of iMovie, 1.1. The editing app is now compatible with the fourth-generation iPod touch, thanks in part to the latter's new A4 processor and HD video recording abilities. Several other additions have also been made, including the ability to split clips, or scrub to preview in the Video Browser. In-app tips should guide new users, and when a video extends beyond its soundtrack, the music will loop automatically.
Some minor tweaks include better performance and reliability, badges to indicate mute clips, and an improved Photos Browser that displays the newest graphics at the top. iMovie is a 35.1MB download, and costs $5. Beyond the latest Touch, it can only be used on an iPhone 4.
