Monster has expanded its Beats by Dr. Dre series with new earphones, PowerBeats, that are said to be borne of collaboration with Miami Heat star LeBron James. The earphones feature an adjustable ear hook with a flexible arm designed specifically for sports enthusiasts and athletes.
Dual drivers help separate bass and midrange frequencies, while an integrated microphone can be used for hands-free calling with phones or other devices. The headphones also provide in-line playback controls compatible with iOS devices such as iPods, iPads or iPhones.
The PowerBeats are now available directly from the company or supporting retailers for $180. Customers can choose from red, white or black color schemes.
