Limitations of Windows, Linux versions persist

A Mac version of greenpois0n has been released, just a few days after the initial Windows and Linux launches. The hack is iOS 4.1-compatible, and jailbreaks the iPad, iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS, as well as the third- or fourth-generation iPod touch. Both the Mac and Windows editions are now listed as RC4 versions.

No news has emerged on planned support for the Apple TV or the second-generation Touch. A similar situation exists with the recent Limera1n hack. Although technically compatible with the Apple TV, no third-party apps have been developed to take advantage of the set-top.
