ShaggyMac ships Macbook Air keyboard liner

Just a day after Apple launched its new MacBook Air models, three company's have launched protective accessories for the device. TOM BIHN has launched its Cache Sleeve for the 11-inch MacBook Air, offering 360-degree protection for the Air. The sleeve has 6mm thick foam padding and a brushed tricot interior lining to protect the MacBook. The exterior is laminated four-ply Taslan and the case closes using a flap instead of Velcro. The case ships in early November in black or grey for $30.

WaterField has announced its first two cases for the MacBook Air, the SleeveCase for MacBook Air and the Suede Jacket Sleeve for MacBook Air. The SleeveCase combines a ballistic nylon shell with neoprene lining. The case can be set up for horizontal or vertical use and offers straps, D-rings and a padded front flap as accessories.

The Suede Jacket Sleeve is a form fitted slip-in case made of Ultrasuede and can be used as a screen cleaner when not in use as a case. The bottom of the sleeve has neoprene lining for added protection. The cases are available for both the 13-inch and 11-inch Macbook Air sizes and will ship October 29. The SleeveCase will cost $37 and $39 for either the 11-inch or 13-inch Air, while the Suede Jacket Sleeves will be $25 for the 11-inch model and $29 for the 13-inch version.

ShaggyMac has launched screen protective keyboard liners, the MacBook Air Screen Protector 11.6" and the MacBook Air Screen Protector 13". The liners protect the screen from marks, smudges and scuffs from the keyboard and can be used as a wipe to clean the LCD as well. The liner is shipping today, priced at $13 for the 11-inch MacBook Air and $15 for the larger 13-inch Air.
