Headset incorporates new Bose StayHear tips

Bose has unveiled its first Bluetooth headset for mobile phones. The Bose Bluetooth Headset incorporates its enhanced version of its TriPort acoustics and includes a high-quality mic that is equipped with adaptive audio adjustment for tweaking the volume of a user’s voice in relation to the background noise to optimize call quality.

The headset features the redesigned version of Bose’s in-ear headphone tip, which they have dubbed the StayHear. Designed to address user feedback about the stability of their in-ear design for users on the go, the new design should ensure a snug, but comfortable fit for active users.

It is compatible with all Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR devices and includes a on-board call button as well as volume buttons. It will be available from January next year for around $180. [via Pocket-lint]
