Comes on verge of first iPad support for iAd

iAd placements are finally beginning to reach an international audience, according to developers. The people note that they are now receiving impressions from viewers around the world, instead of just iAd's original markets. Until this week, the iAd program has been limited to North America and the UK.

The expansion should be essential to increasing revenue for developers, as well as making iAd more attractive to marketers. Apple is in the process of ramping up iAd in several respects. Beyond adding more countries, the company is hiring new sales workers and believed to be looking at a new Manhattan sales office. iAds will also soon be viewable on the iPad as a result of iOS 4.2.
