Sales to come in limited 'batches'
Recently pulled by its developer due to overwhelming demand, the Skyfire web browser has temporarily reappeared at the App Store. The title circumvents iOS' inability to play Flash video by means of remote transcoding to HTML5. Initial traffic overloaded Skyfire servers though, prompting the company to voluntarily pull the app to prevent poor performance.
Skyfire's CEO, Jeff Glueck, says his firm is now "working around the clock" to add capacity for extra users. As a result, only "batches" of app downloads will be available in the near future, and initially just from the US App Store. Other countries are expected to go live "shortly."
Glueck adds that although there may be some "initial congestion" in the new wave of Skyfire use, trying again an hour later should improve speeds. It's unclear how long the current App Store availability might last.

It's just sad to see how many people want to view ad infestations, since thats all Flash c*** is good for. Perhaps it wasn't the extra users overloading your servers, Skyfire, perhaps it was the crappy Flash doing what it does best, causing issues.
