Omnio WOWKeys lets users control computers

Omnio will soon release a new, Apple-certified WOWKeys keyboard that has a dock for an iPhone, according to AVing. Instead of a number pad, the right side of the keyboard has a bay that can accommodate an iPhone. Users can then use the devices alone, with the keyboard controlling the iPhone.

There are dedicated keys such as volume, display-off, brightness, media keys, keyboard toggle and a home button. Users can also hook up the keyboard to a Mac or PC using a USB cable, and use the connected iPhone like a trackpad, number pad or remote control for the connected computer. Any of these requires a dedicated third-party app, however. A toggle switch lets users pick from one of these two modes.

Connected iPhones are charged. They WOWKeys keyboard should arrive in Korea soon, priced at the equivalent of $105. [via Wired]
