iPhone 4 tops eBay's top list of 2010, iPad 5th
eBay on Tuesday released its annual Top Shopped report that reveals which products were the most popular on its Marketplace web pages in 2010. The top of the list was taken up by the iPhone 4, followed by all things related to Barbie, with military jackets rounding out the top three. Last year, no single electronic device made the top ten.
Another Apple device, the iPad, took up the number five spot, behind Hot Wheels toys, with merchandise relating to the World Cup, The Beatles, Silly Bandz, Alice in Wonderland and the New Orleans Saints finishing off the top ten list, in that order.
The list represents the popularity of all items sold through eBay related to the devices, such as accessories. The iPhone 4 and its related items sold 1,634,674 items, while iPad products numbered 621,399.
