Paper Glider app downloaded by daughters
Apple has announced that a mom from Kent in England has downloaded the 10 billionth app from the iTunes App Store. The winning app, Paper Glider, is a free app by Neon Play and was downloaded by the woman’s daughters. Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Gail Davis joked that, “I have to confess it wasn’t me who downloaded it but my daughters.” Davis also thought that the initial phone call from Apple’s PR people was a prank, but was fortunate that they were kind enough to call back to break the exciting news.
Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, said, "With more than 10 billion apps downloaded in just two and a half years, a staggering seven billion apps in the last year alone, the App Store has surpassed our wildest dreams."

Way to go English mom
I wish my kids have been downloading free games at just that moment. Free music, books, movies, software for life (or many years to come anyway).
