Sonos devices get Rdio update
Sonos today pushed out an update to its audio devices to add Rdio support. The expansion gives them access to on-demand streaming for songs, playlists and whole albums. Social playlists from friends, popular Rdio users and the servce's charts will also pipe through the multi-room audio system.
Access needs the $10 monthly Rdio Unlimited plan. Sonos hardware such as the ZonePlayer S5 should have the update today. Any changes should also be reflected both on the official Sonos Controller and desktop clients as well as the iPad and iPhone/iPod apps.
