Most cited features carried over from 1.2

Apple has posted a minor update of iBooks, its e-reader app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The title is now at v1.2.1, but what changes have been made are unclear. Release notes provided on iTunes are identical to those of iBooks 1.2, which launched in December.

At the time the app gained the ability to create Collections, and print notes and PDF files via AirPrint. Fully illustrated books arrived in the iBookstore for the first time, and automatic hyphenation made it possible to fit more words on a page. iBooks 1.2.1 is a 14.9MB download and requires iOS 3.2.

    Why bother updating...
