Icons in Pages for iPad may hint at iWork for iPhone

Retina support for iPad less likely
Icons discovered in the code for Pages for iPad may suggest that Apple has bigger plans for iWork on iOS. The graphics depict common options in Pages, such as printing, guidelines and notes. Notably though the material is sized at Retina Display resolution, something the first-generation iPad doesn't support.
The icons could support notions that the second-generation iPad will gain a Retina Display, but there is no iPad reference in the filenames. They may therefore be in place for an iPhone version of the iWork suite, which has been hinted at since June. If so the content suggests that iWork will become a universal iOS app, rather than one split into separate iPad and iPhone versions.
Although several reports have claimed plans for ultra-high resolution iPad displays, most recent accounts have dismissed them. Apple may instead be readying them for a third-generation tablet; IDC research manager Tom Maineilli comments that mass production of a 2048x1536 panel in particular is likely unfeasible at the moment. The resolution would be sharper than most desktop monitors can support.

It implies that the iPad is getting the high-res iphone display. Or it implies the iWork developers had them made and shoved them in there, because, at some point or another, the software may end up on the iPhone or a better display ipad.
And there being no iPad mention in the file name may mean something as simple as someone going in and saying "What idiot put the iPad in these file names? What if we were to go to another device? Or migrate it to OS X? The names become stupid then. Change it!"
It doesn't have to mean anything.
