SteelSeries brings out full size headphones

Gaming peripherals maker SteelSeries has introduced two new over-the-head earphones. The Siberia is made for gamers and is compatible with the Sony PS3 and Xbox 360 gaming consoles as well as Macs and PCs. The 7H, meanwhile, is iPod, iPhone and iPad compatible. Other than the design, the two share similar technical specs, including the same 50mm drivers.

The 7H set has switchable earcups, covered either by leather or cloth. There is an inline remote control that adjusts volume and answers or ends calls. A microphone retracts from the left earcup of either model. Both headphones offer a frequency response range of 18-28,000Hz, an impedance of 32 Ohms and 112dB of maximum SPL at 1kHz and 1Vrms.

Pricing or ship dates are not yet known, though users can sign up for updates on the product pages.
