iPad 2 still unsupported

Untethered jailbreaking and carrier unlocking is now available for iOS 4.3.3, the unofficial iPhone Dev Team says. redsn0w and PwnageTool have been updated to support jailbreaking the firmware, which was released by Apple on May 4th. Unlocking requires ultrasn0w, and carefully avoiding certain pitfalls. Only certain iPhone 4, 3G and 3GS basebands are supported for example, and people must skip using redsn0w, turning instead to a custom IPSW file to update to iOS 4.3.3 while preserving a compatible baseband.

redsn0w has notably been updated to allow toggling Apple's experimental four- and five-fingered multitasking gestures. Devices compatible with redsn0w and PwnageTool include the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, second-generation Apple TV and third- and fourth-generation iPod touches. An iPad 2 jailbreak "remains under development," according to the Dev Team.

"As you may know, the original exploit @comex developed in the first week of the iPad2 release was mysteriously fixed by Apple within days of its development," a blog post reads. "Partly because of this, don’t expect much public discussion of the iPad2 jailbreak until it’s actually finished and ready for release (and please avoid asking about it). "In all liklihood [sic], it will be a userland exploit like the first (unreleased) one, not dependent on bootrom dumps. The first one can’t be released even for those with the original 4.3 firmware due to legal (distribution) reasons."

    Nope

Fails upon checking with Apple. WTF guys, I don't mind waiting, but don't give us this non-working BS.
