Altec Lansing iMT810 gets iPhone 4 support

Altec Lansing is now shipping the latest of its MIX digital boomboxes in the MIX iMT810. It can accommodate Apple's iPods and iPhones, with newfound support for the iPhone 4. The box gets aluminum accents and grips and houses a 5.25-inch subwoofer and 5.25-inch passive radiator pump, along with horn-loaded tweeters and mid-range drivers.

Music information is displayed on a blue LCD and users have access to a digital seven-band graphic equalizer and four factory presets to tune the sound how they see fit. Other than the iPod/iPhone dock, there are two auxiliary 3.5mm inputs and an FM tuner. Docked Apple devices will be charged when the iMT810 is plugged into a wall. It can also run on eight D-cell batteries, and Altec Lansing promises a 30-hour life.

A remote control is included and includes a clip-on carabiner. There is also a cubby for the remote built into the iMT810.

The boombox is now shipping, priced at $300.
