Lets iOS devices work with auto media systems

Owners of iPads, iPhones and iPods can integrate their devices into their car's existing entertainment systems with Scosche's new SneakPeek Auto, either as sources of entertainment sent out to other in-car screens or as a screen for incoming entertainment from other devices, while simultaneously providing charging for the iOS device, up to 10 watts -- enough to charge an iPad even while in use.

The kit includes nine feet of high-quality AV cabling, allowing for a seamless install in almost any vehicle. It offers the 2.1 amp electrical and ground connections along with composite audio and video leads on one end and a 30-pin universal iOS connector on the other, along with a toggle switch to control the flow of media either to the iDevice or from it. The 30-pin connector is stepped to avoid users having to take the iOS device out of its case in order to connect it.

The SneakPeek auto AV kit works with the iPad 2, iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPhone, iPod touch (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation), iPod nano (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th generation) and iPod classic. It is compatible with iPod video playback, the iOS camera roll or an iPod's photos, AirVideo, YouTube, Netflix (iPhone 4, iPad and iPad 2) and Keynote. The kit is available now and sells for $75.
