Lego Life of George game recreates images

Lego, the brick-building toy game for kids, has just introduced a new game that requires an iOS app, Life of George. Included is a gaming mat that a combination of 144 blocks can be arranged on, which also doubles as a green screen of sorts. Gamers are tasked with recreating an image on the iPhone/iPod screen with the block on the gaming mat, then taking a photo of their creation using the EyeCue feature.

Users are scored based on speed and accuracy of their recreation. Users can challenge a friend to a build-off and create their own levels with their own builds. The standard game has 12 levels with 10 photos each.

Gamers can also follow the story of George on his Facebook page, I am George.

The toy, aimed at kids 14 and older, goes on sale on October 1 for $30.
