Luxa2 has released an alleged iPhone 5 case press release ahead of Apple keynote, while Sybase announced 6 forthcoming HR-based iPhone applications
Earlier today Luxa2, a division of Termaltake, sent out a press release detailing 13 new iPhone 5 cases. While the release does not provide any concrete details on the rumored device, it does depict a redesigned body that is consistent with other reports. Despite recent doubts, the release supports the notion of a tapered design that includes a slim volume rocker and repositioned mute switch. Apple's "Let's Talk iPhone" event is scheduled to start at 10AM Pacific today.
Sybase to launch iOS HR applications later this year
Sybase has announced that it will be launching a series of HR-based mobile applications in the fourth quarter of 2011. The product line includes two iPad apps, Manager Insight and Interview Assistant, along with four iPhone applications, Employee Lookup, Leave Request, Timesheet and HR Approvals. All together the applications will allow managers to perform a range of HR-related activities, including interviewing job candidates, managing employee performance, entering and approving leave requests and accessing corporate key performance indicators.
