Project currently awaits Kickstarter funding

DesignHuman Colectiv has introduced a new Kickstarter project that aims to bring high quality audio to Bluetooth-connected smartphones and tablets such as the iPhone, iPad, or Android-based devices. The +Knob wireless speaker integrates two 2.5-inch drivers powered by a National Semiconductor amp chip, with an estimated output rating between 20-25 watts.

The Miami-based design firm is offering two models, including the Original with a black cabinet, white grill and blue status light. The Anaconda Edition is CNC milled from bamboo, with a metal grill covered with unique graphics.

The +Knob project is currently past a third of its $15,000 funding goal. Investors who pledge $100 will receive the +Knob Original if the project reaches full funding, while a $220 pledge is required to purchase the Anaconda Edition.
