iPad title mainly layout upgrade

Walmart has updated its iPhone shopping app, and simultaneously introduced a separate iPad title. Both apps let users browse and order products, as well as get directions to nearby outlets. Other functions include checking local store stock, creating item lists, and browsing sales.

The iPad app primarily features a more convenient and attractive layout. Products are displayed in a catalog style, with a list of departments constantly accessible on the left. Likewise, account, store, search, and cart options are always onscreen except when viewing product details.

Both the iPhone and iPad apps are free downloads, and require iOS 4 or later.
