Person launches iOS development books
Rockefeller University Press has released dedicated iOS apps for three of its journals, while Pearson has launched three new iOS development books
The Rockefeller University Press has released new iPhone and iPad apps for its three journals: The Journal of Cell Biology, The Journal of Experimental Medicine, and The Journal of General Physiology. The three apps allow users to read and cache full-text articles, as well as view high-resolution images and access podcasts and other feeds. Support is also included for bookmarking articles, searching through content, sharing items through Facebook and Twitter, and more.
Pearson released new iOS development books
Three new development books for iOS programmers have been launched by Pearson. The three books, Sams Teach Yourself Core Data for Mac and iOS in 24 Hours, The iOS 5 Developer's Cookbook and Learning iPad Programming, are all available in both hardcopy and eBook formats, which can be purchased through Pearson's website. In addition, Person has announced that two additional books, Programming in Objective-C and Sams Teach Yourself Adobe iOS 5 Application Development in 24 Hours, will be released in the coming weeks.
