Two new SkyDrive apps give users more control

Microsoft has just detailed two new apps for Windows Phone and iOS, both designed to give users full control over their SkyDrive cloud file storage accounts. While Windows Phone users can already access their SkyDrive documents and photos through the Office and Pictures hubs, respectively, this new app gives them full control over file management. SkyDrive power users wanted more complete control over their contents and Microsoft has obliged.

The new iPhone app (free, iTunes) is now available in 32 languages. OneNote notebooks are now supplemented by the ability to create folders, delete files and share links to folders and files directly from the Mail app. Photos or videos can be uploaded from the phone and users can also view recently accessed files.
