Facebook Timeline crosses over to iOS app

Facebook has followed up its bringing Timeline to Android with an update to the iOS version (App Store). Both iPhone and iPod touch owners will now see a touch-optimized version of the expanded profile when someone has it enabled. Timeline both provides a more visual look at a member's profile but also stretches back as many years as the person has info, stretching back as far as the person's birth.

Although the iPad version is still included, it doesn't yet show the Timeline version. The update is "coming soon," Facebook said.

Along with the Timeline upgrade, everyone gets friend lists, subscriptions, and subscribers. Performance should have improved over the earlier version. Using the update requires iOS 4 regardless of the platform.

    Cool

I love Facebook and my Android but my boyfriend has an iPhone. I've used it to check my Facebook and don't like how different it is. I'm glad to see that they will be the same soon. Thanks for the info!
