'Complete My Album' no longer limited to 180-days

Following Apple’s recent addition of the ‘Complete My Season Pass’ function for TV shows on iTunes, the company has posted two new FAQs. One addresses the new ability to upgrade to a Season Pass for TV shows at a discount, while the other addresses changes to the ‘Complete My Album’ function. The new FAQ has dropped any mention of the 180-day window for upgrading to a full album at a discounted rate after a user has downloaded individual songs from it.

The previous version of the FAQ stated:

“COMPLETE MY ALBUM ("CMA")
In some circumstances, you will have no more than 180 days from the time you acquire your first CMA-eligible song or video from a particular CMA-eligible album to accept that CMA offer, and upgrading previous purchases to iTunes Plus does not affect any such time limits.”

The new version of the “COMPLETE MY ALBUM” FAQ states:

“When you buy individual songs from any qualifying album, you can complete the album at any time, as long as the album is available for sale on the iTunes Store.” [via Macrumors]
