IMDb updated to version 2.4

iZotope has released six new audio SDKs for iOS developers, while IMDb has announced an update for its mobile app

iZotope has launched six iOS software developer kits and a free guide to audio programming for iOS. The six SDKs include Audio Repair, DJ FX, Vocal FX, Trash FX, Fun FX, and Core FX, that can be used in any number of applications. Free trials of each SDK can be downloaded from iZotope's website, while pricing can be obtained directly from Scott Simon. The free developers guide provides a collection of information on using Core Audio in iOS, including how to use both Audio Queues and Audio Units, the two main methods in Core Audio for handling audio. The book can be downloaded online or through the iBook store.

IMDb iOS app gains new notifications

An updated version of the IMDb iOS app has been released in the App Store with notifications for entertainment news, new trailers, and showtimes. The mobile application allows users to access the company's database of movie, TV, and celebrity information, including trailers, photos, reviews, and more. Version 2.4 allows users to create an IMDb account directly in the app and reintroduces DVD and Blu-ray releases. The update also improves photo captions and Facebook sharing, as well as adds Watchlist and History buttons to the home screen.
