Fruux, a cross-platform syncing utility has bend updated with support for iOS and Android, while Macware has reduced the cost of FontPack Pro to $1 for a limited time


Fruux, a tool that was originally launched as a Mac to Mac syncing service, has been updated with support for iOS and Android devices. The utility is based on open standards, such as CardDAV and CalDAV, which allow users to sync both contacts and calendars between a number of devices. An automatic setup process is offered for OS X Lion and iOS, while other devices require users to perform a manual setup. Fruux can be downloaded for free from the company's website.

FontPack Pro reduced to $1 for a limited time

Macware has announced that it will be offering FontPack Pro for $1 until the end of Februrary. FontPack Pro is a collection of more than 1000 classic, refined, designer, and creative style fonts that regularly sells for $150. All fonts are royalty free and include Western European character sets, as well as a 5-comptuer license and support for both Macs and PCs. The promotional price can be obtained by using the coupon code "FPP1PR" in the shopping card during checkout.
